hey i need help to build more power should i do lower weight more reps or high weight with less reps because i was doing 205lbs 12×8x6×6 and didnt feel as much burn as when i did 135 20×15x10×10
Well, to give you perhaps a better example, let’s imagine that you train triceps very hard before a chest workout. Since you use triceps heavily for bench (even though it’s not the primary muscle group), wouldn’t it negatively impact your chest development? I think that if you were to do such, you’d notice that your chest is not improving nearly as much as your triceps. Makes sense, since weakened triceps create a bottleneck for your chest workout. That said, I’ll give your method a shot too.
The exact opposite argument could be made for them to be worked on the same day… for the same reason. IMHO its fully dependent on what the individual find works for them the best. Try it both ways.
This is just my personal opinion, but I wouldn’t recommend that people work shoulders and chest on the same day because they’re synergistic, one helps the other.
yeah its cause theres no arch in the shoe and its keeps the foot flat. its believed that its more beneficial to exercise without shoes or come as close to flat footed as possible
wow angryface, thank you! that’s an incredible workout. I’m going to try that although I don’t know how much success I’ll have because I am 49 years old LOL
that’s sounds like an awesome workout! I’m only 5′ 61/2 and weigh 198 lbs. But, the last time I worked out I started out with military press – did a worm up of 8 reps. Then I increased the weight to 150 lbs and did 26 reps – then I increased the weight to 190 lbs and benched it 5 times. Then I put 250 lbs on the “pull down” machine and did 5 reps of that. This was all done at omni 41 in schererville, Indiana last Thursday morning.
