so i was told that, you shouldnt knock the weights together when you bring them up. i was also told that you shouldnt be arching your back. he says to ‘always keep your back arched” can someone help me on this?

I have a hard time believing that he pumps with 25 pounders..

  • bambarby says:

bullshyt he uses 25 for shoulder press that’s wayyy to light for him. Maybe for like a drop set then thats another story

@FaTaL1ze Well… Not quite. Nothing wrong with starting out at a 90 degree angle but you would not get a very efficient shoulder workout. Why? I’d say that the shoulders work more down there and up to about 45 degrees, from there on all the way up it’s almost more M. Triceps Brachii involvment than shoulders.

  • ProphetofGod says:

@xabcx lol, they’re only like 12 kgs, which are feather weights for shoulders, and you’re pretty experienced

wth dont go down that long

  • nirych says:

@maleslave10 Yes and no. There’s no point in lifting too heavy if your form is going to dip. There is also alot of debate on how many reps and sets to do. Personally I aim to do between 8-10 reps for 4 sets on this exercise. If I’m struggling by the 2nd and 3rd set to reach at least 8 with form then the weight is too heavy for me. I also allow a strict minute between sets too as I’ve found that this now gives me that muscle group an intense workout. I guess it’s each to their own.

  • nirych says:

@jeeaaman I agree with you. Less ego and more technique. I damanged my rota cuff by doing the total opposite. And for those who are criticising him for using those weights need to remember he is doing a tutorial video. When I show someone a correct way to lift I don’t go and grab my maximum but opt for something alot lighter.
I think his clips are pretty good.

  • xabcx says:

…. lol is anyone else amazed by how he makes those 25’s look like paper clips?

  • rudeawakening101 says:

As if this guy got his shoulders like that pressing those “comfortable” 25lbs dumbbells. What a lying piece of fucking shit. I hope he dies and goes to hell.

  • XxTequilaahxX says:

@falconbird123456789 woo xD yur 13 using 45lb’s, way to raise the bar 8D >xD

  • jeeaaman says:

This guy prolly trains with bigger weights , but the point is that its good to go with a good form and control the weight well. I dunno i usually feel i have worked more when i go with lighter weights and slower reps + good form vs bigger weights but with worse form.

  • leftpuman says:

@edgarlovesme ur comment made me laugh very loudly

  • Archlvt says:

@maleslave10 Nope, not for all exercises. Bench press? Yes. Shoulder press? No.
